Cant believe Im running

A mere three weeks ago, I was a doughy middle-aged man-slug who only ever ran when the buffet was about to close. Today, Im a doughy middle-aged man-slug who jogs. But hey, baby steps, right? Just getting started is a major hurdle to clear. I always thought of running as something that wasnt for people like me, but C25Ks incremental approach really eases you into it. The app keeps track of speed and distance, so you can see your progress (even if the improvement is slow, its a huge motivation). It isnt perfect though. Its very easy to mess up the lock screen widget, which causes the trainer to go silent. On my first run, I didnt realize this and ran too far, got a leg cramp and had to stop early. I figured out what I did wrong and its been great ever since. Even with that one issue, this app is a great value, especially compared to similar apps that want you to pay for a subscription. Cant recommend it enough.

Definitely in love with this app. I was usual runner. I got out the marine corps last May and I literally said eff it and stopped running for nearly a year. My goal is to do a half marathon in October. Im on day 3 of this app and I already see improvement from my day 1 run. I definitely recommend this app.

Not a good App for Watch

I paid for this app because it was available on the watch. However, it only operates w/ the phone. That defeats the purpose of having the watch. Disappointed wish I knew that before I paid for this app. Looking for a new one. Taking suggestions.

Good app worth the money

Ive done C25k a few times - typically coming off a winter where I was a slug and didnt want to run. This is a great training tool that provides verbal cues (if desired) and vibrates (if desired) so you dont need to have your screen on - or volume on. My only wish is that it would engage with Map My Run or Map My Fitness.

DONT PURCHASE THIS APP

I was so excited to use this app after reading all the reviews. Unfortunately, I cannot get past day 2. Ive attempted to complete day three on 3 separate occasions. Each time, my battery dies in the middle of the workout. I have an iPhone 6, and each time my battery life was at least 75%. Within 15 to 20 minutes, my battery is drained. I can use my phones GPS for 1 1/2 hours and stream iPlay at work for 8 hours, but this 30 minute program kills my battery. That doesnt seem right. Sure, you can disable the apps functionality, but why should I have to pay for features I cannot use?

Yes

This app is great. I find myself looking forward to workouts and that has never been the case before. The app follows the Couch to 5k program--which most people have heard of--and it works seamlessly with your phone/iPads music and GPS. You track workouts and get audio cues to either "jog" or "walk." I recommend it. Its worth the price.

Decent....

I really like the app a lot. It really helps me to pace myself. if I could change two things one is I would have more options for the coaches voice, and also the believer to tell you how much time is left before the next interval. Other than that a great app.

Great motivator

We just joined a gym that has a small, indoor track. Ive been walking a mile for three weeks and knew it was time to step up my game. The cues given keep me on track to reaching my goal of being able to jog a 5K. However, I have to say the voice commands or cues to walk and jog are really low and often difficult to hear... even with my ipod sound up on high. I hope this gets resolved in an update.

Great app! The direction is clear and Im already feeling more in shape with more endurance! My first 5k is in 3 weeks! Highly recommended!

Cannot believe this worked for me!

I just finished my last run on this program today. Before using the app I couldnt run from my front door to my mailbox without feeling like I was about to collapse. I have always wanted to be a runner but I never ever ever thought Id be able to do it. This app changed my life. It sounds silly to say, but it took me from a stand point where I had zero physical activity and now Im running non stop for 30 minutes. I lost 17 pounds in the 9 weeks and I recommend this app to everyone who is within earshot. I never buy apps or write reviews, but this app was worth every penny and I am so thankful that I found it. I promise you, if I can do it you can. Theres a few functionality things within the app that I dont like, the distance I dont think is accurate and the speed I think has the same problem. But honestly Im so happy it worked for me those minor details dont bother me. Love love love it.

I started using this app when I was recovering from sports injuries, and it was a great tool for allowing me to still exercise while taking it easy.

Awesome app!
